Overview:

Summary:

May Institute’s Center for Autism Spectrum Disorders currently seeks a Program Director to be responsible for overall operations, budgets, marketing, and community outreach in the Tuscon, and Phoenix, AZ.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure quality of care within the program by supervising performance and productivity of staff
  • Develop operating budgets based on historical performance and estimated future demand
  • Manage monthy productivity and finances for office
  • Manage waiting list and caseloads of staff
  • Coordinate the recruitment of staff, including publicizing open positions, interviewing and selecting staff, and writing employee work performance standards
  • Maintain a limited consultation caseload
  • Provide leadership in the coordination of services between the May Center for Autism Spectrum Disorders and local service providers including public school systems and local early intervention programs
  • Participate in marketing, public relations, and fundraising activities as required
  • Provide program information to interested parties in the format of formal presentations to large and small groups.

Qualifications:

  • BCBA required; AZ Behavior Analyst License preferred
  • Management/supervisory experience
  • Experience with budgetary and programmatic decision-making
  • Strong leadership and organization skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
