Summary:

May Center for Consultation Services is currently seeking an experienced Human Resources professional to manage a range of HR operations activities that include employee relations, investigations, performance management, benefit administration and leave of absences for 250+ employees located in Eastern and Western MA as well as several other states across the country.

Responsibilities:

  • The position will report to the Director of Field HR, function as the primary HR Business Partner to the VP of Consultation and collaborate with operational teams within the EMA, WMA and Out of State Centers
  • Manage employee relations; guide and counsel managers on employee relations issues
  • Conduct workplace investigations
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state laws as well as company policies and procedures
  • Provide expertise on health and welfare benefits programs, performance management, staff development and employee engagement
  • Participate in the on boarding process and oversee the recruitment and HR operations processes
  • Collect HR metrics and work closely with central HR to fill positions
  • Collaborate with Consultation Leadership on acquisitions and new business opportunities

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required ; PHR or SPHR preferred
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Human Resources operations, employee relations and   employment law
  • Strong writing and communication skills
  • Proven ability to function independently and as part of a team
